Descendants of Thomas Morkill
     Nelson Alexander Morkill was born on Feb 12, 1862 in Québec.1,2,3 He was the son of Richard Dalby Morkill and Luvia Doolittle Osgood. Nelson was privately baptized on May 19, 1862 at the Episcopal Church in Sherbrooke.1

     He appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Sherbrooke, Centre Ward, Sherbrooke, Québec in the household of his father.3

     Nelson married Alice Gertrude Lyford, daughter of W. C. Lyford and Sarah Mitchell, on Aug 19, 1887 at St. Peter's Church in Sherbrooke . The marriage was performed by A. Campbell Scarth, and was witnessed by W. C. Lyford (probably Alice's father), H. E. Macfarlane and I. H. Robins.4,2

     Nelson died before Mar 27, 1923.5
