     Maud Muriel Clare Morkill was born on Nov 1, 1877 in Québec.1,2,3 She was the daughter of James Falshaw Morkill and Mary Louisa LeBaron. She was baptized on May 19, 1878 at the Anglican Church in Hatley; witnesses were J. J. Burrage and M. W. Lebaron.2

     Maud and her parents appeared as lodgers on the 1901 Canadian Census of 28 Commercial Street, Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke County, Québec in the household of Jas. R. Woodward.3

     Maud married Alfred Bridport Hood on Sep 14, 1904 in Sherbrooke.4
