DESCENDANTS OF GERHARD LEVERING.

For personal of Gerhard2, see children of Rosier Levering.

THIRD GENERATION.

Children of (7) Gerhard2 and Mary Levering.

 1.  I. ABRAHAM3: b. about 1695 in Roxborough, Philad; married
Ann (???). He d. July 29, 1730, at Philad., and was
buried in the grounds of Christ's Church. Nothing is
known of his wife Ann, but 1 infer from Abraham's history
that she died first. I believe her maiden surname
was Randle or Randall. See statements of him elsewhere.
                                                    (6)

 2.  II. HENRY3: b. about 1699, in Roxb. His wife's given name
was Catharine. It is not known whether they married
in Roxborough. In 1730 or 1731 he removed with
his father and brothers to Whitpain Township, in the
west end of, then, Philad. County, where his father purchased
100 acres of land for him, in 1731. He d. probably
in Jan., 1778, in Whitpain, and was buried at Boehm
Churchyard. The destruction of the earliest records of
Boehm Church deprives me of data concerning him, his
father, and others of his generation.    (9)
His will was probated at Philad,, Feb. 7, 1778. In it he states: "I bequeath my largest Bible unto my grandson, Daniel Levering, son of Garrett Levering." I have made effort to trace and find this bible. My want of success does not satisfy me that the old volume is not in hiding somewhere.
