HENRY DYESS - served in the South Carolina militia from 27 April to 3 December 1781 under Capts. Joseph Johnson and Frederick Wommack. From 3 December 1781 to 10 March 1782, he served as a lieutenant in the militia.

JOHN DYESS - served one hundred thrity two days in the South Carolina Militia from 20 April to 12 September 1781 under Capts Joseph Johnson and Frederick Wommack.

WILLIAM DYESS - He served in South Carolina militia from 12 May to 27 December 1781 under Capts. Joseph Johnson and John Sapp.
