1. CAROLINA1 CARLSSON was born 11 October 1854 in Goteborg, Sweden, and died 24 January 1933 in Denver, Colorado. She married JOHN SVEN HOLMGREN Abt. 1884, son of JOHN HOLMGREN. He was born 09 September 1843 in Sweden, and died 23 July 1928 in Denver, Colorado.

She has a sister named Hanna. Carolina left Sweden and arrived in Rockford, Illinois around 1884 to stay with friends for about 6 months. Also known as Caroline Carlson.
Notes for JOHN SVEN HOLMGREN:
Came from Sweden in his early 20's to Pennsylvania. His name was John Johnson and in the settlement where he lived there were so many Johnson's he changed his name to John Holmgren, not legalized so no records. His son's death certificate showed he also lived in Missouri.
He met Caroline after he moved to the United States and they married and moved to Denver.
He was a woodchopper and freight handler for the railroad. Lived near Evergreen, Colo where daughter Elenora was born; moved to Denver by 1890.

2. ELENORA ANNA2 HOLMGREN (CAROLINA1 CARLSSON) was born 21 June 1885 in Evergreen, Colorado, and died 05 July 1976 in Spring Valley, CA. She married EDGAR BELANGER CULNAN 16 September 1912 in San Diego, California, son of MICHAEL CULNAN and ROSETTA BELANGER. He was born 17 February 1888 in Calumet, Houghton Co, MI, and died 19 September 1969 in San Diego, California.

She worked for Pittsburg Glass. She went with friends to Portland, Oregon where she met her future husband, Edgar.
