October the Eighth Day D 1716 Herein -- written is Conteyned the Last Will and Testament of John Spainswicke the y elder of Bishopston in the County of Wilts yeoman. Item I Give and bequeath my soule unto thalmighty God in hopes of a Joyfull Resurrection and my Body to the Earth to be Decently Buryed in the Church yard of Bishopston afforesayd at the Discretion of my Executor hereafter named And as for the Dispession of all Such Temporall Estate as the Lord in Mercy hat Lent me my …. Will and meaning in the same shall be Dispoased of as followeth I Give and Bequeathe unto my son Jonathan Spainswicke one shillinge and unto his Two Daughters Margaret and Elizabeth one Shilling apeice I Give and Bequeathe unto my son George Spainswicke Tenn pounds and unto Martin the son of the sayd George Spainswike Twenty Shillings I Give more unto my son George Spainswicke All my wearinge Apparrell of all sorts as well Lining as woothing and my Greate Trunke All the rest and reasidue of my p[er]sonall estate of what sort ---- not already bequeathed by Debts Leagacies and funerall expenses being payd and discharged I give and bequeath unto my sone John Spanswicke whom I do make constitute and ordaine full and whole executor of this my Last will and Testament
