Will of Charles Spanswick of Marylebone (1892)





This is the Last Will and Testament of me Charles Spanswick of No 25 Bolsover Street in the Parish of Saint Marylebone London . I give devise and bequeath unto my dear wife Esther Spanswick (and after her decease to my three unmarried daughters Mary Ann , Caroline and Ellen ) all my personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever and all monies in possession or which may be due or owing to me at the time of my decease and all other property whether in reversion remainder or expectancy and I appoint my said daughters Mary Ann and Ellen to be the joint Executors of this my last will and testament . In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty sixth day of March one thousand eight hundred and seventy nine .

Signed by the testator Charles Spanswick and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who are in his presence at his request in the presence of each other have hereunto set our names as witnesses . On 7th Dec 1892 Probate of this Will was granted to Mary Ann Spanswick and Ellen Spanswick Spinsters the executors

BE IT KNOWN , that at the date hereunder written , the last will and testament of Charles Spanswick of no 25 Bolsover Street Marylebone in the County of Middlesex deceased who died on the 22nd day of November 1892 at No 25 Bolsover Street aforesaid was proved and registered in the Priincipal Probate Registry of Her Majesty's High Court of Justice and that administration of the personal estate of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid court to Mary Ann Spanswick of no 25 Bolsover Street aforesaid Spinster and Ellen Spanswick of no 25 Bolsover Street aforesaid Spinster the daughters of the said deceased the Executrixes named in the said will they having first sworn well and faithfully to administer the same.
