Know all [men] by these presents that I Robert Jacobb of Lytle Hynton in the County of Wiltshire,yeoman
Teneri et firmiter obligari venerobiliviro magistero Johannis Gordon theologie doctori Eccles[ium] Cathed[ral]is
am held and firmly bound to that venerable man , master John Gordon doctor of theology , dean of the Cathedral Church of
beate Marie Sarum decano,in quadraginta quatour libris bone et legalis monete
the blessed Mary, Sarum,[Salisbury] in forty four pounds of good and legal money
Anglie solvendis eidem Johannis Gordon decano predicti aut suo certo attornato
of England to be paid to the same John Gordon,the afforesaid dean,or his certain attorney,
Executoribus aut assignatibus suis ad quam quidem solucionem bene et fideliter
Executors or assigns , to making which payment indeed well and faithfully
faciend[um] obligo me heredes executores et Administratores nostros [sic] firmiter per presentes
I bind myself,my heirs ,executors and Administrators firmly by these presents

The condicion of this obligacion is such that if the above bounden Robt Jacobb the unckle and administrator of all and singuler the goodes cattalles Chattles credittes and debtes of Agnes Spainesweek late whiles she lived of Byshopston in the County of Wilts Spynster deceassed doe well and trewly admynyster the goodes Cattalles Chattles and debtes of the said deceassed that is to saie in payeing her debtes and Legacies if ther be any as farr forth as her Goods Cattalles Chattles and debtes shall thereunto extend and as the Lawe shall chardge yow,also do exhibite or cause to be exhibited a trew Inventary of the goods of the said deceassed on the Fidie the xxvj th [26th] daye of October next.Also we well and trewley satisfie content and paye or cause to be paid unto Martyn, John, Katheren and Elizabeth the naturall and lawfull Brothers and sisters of the said Agnes Spaynesweek (and such pt and parcel of the deceassedes goodes) and att such daies and tymes and by the above named M[aste]r Deane of Sarum or his officiall shalbee Lymited and appoynted, moreover uppon your owne proper costs and chardges doe allwaies and at all tymes hereafter save and keepe harmlesse the aforesaide Master Deane of Sarum all others his officers & ministers in that behalf for grauntynge to the forste partye the letters of admynistracion and for all other cause ensueing by reason of the same.
Finally do come render and give upp a trew and pefect accompte in writing of all his dealings concerning his administracion when he shall bee thereunto lawfully called & required,that then this present obligacion to be utterly voyd and of noon effect or els to stand remaine and abide in full effect & vertewe.
