Trinity Methodist Church in LaGrange

Cross Road, ~0.3 mi. south of Rt 55.  Constructed early 1800's at Potter's Corners.  I've been told that it was "moved" west ~2 miles to it's present location, however a sign at the church says it was "rebuilt at the present site" in 1863.  The Parish Hall completed at 1958.  914-223-3152

Potter's Corners Cemetery

Former site of Trinity Methodist Church, at intersection of Rt 55 and Noxon Rd/Clapp Rd (Noxon Rd was the former main E-W road to Connecticutt). Graves include a circuit rider and Revolutionary War Veterans.   The first picture is taken from parking lot on Rt 55 (former deli that burned), looking south.  The second picture is taken from Noxon Road. The third picture is taken on Noxon Road, at the sign, looking diagonally back toward Rt55.   The former path to the church is visible going left to right on the third picture.  The Church sat beyond the left side of the third picture.
