Presbyterian Middle Church Cemetery  (Brinkerhoff)
This old cemetery is still active, with the appearance of several recent burials.   It is located on Rt 52, ~2 miles west from Fishkill, and currently next to a large A&P.  The marker in the first picture is from the DAR and is "In Honor of Maj Gen - the Marquie de La-Fayette who was ill many weeks in the Brinkeroff house adjoining during the American Revolution".   Also the marker notes, "On this knoll stood the Middle Church (Presbyterian) built 1747, rebuilt 1830 and burned 1866.  Used as a  military Hospital during the American Revolution."   People currently call it the Brinkerhoff cemetery.  I believe that a Brinkerhoff house still stands nearby.   The first picture is looking north from Rt 52.   The middle of the cemetery (just behind the visible DAR monument in the middle of the picture) is vacant of graves.  I'm guessing that the church stood in that spot.   There is a white wood house adjoining the property to the right (east), that is supposedly still owned by the Brinkerhoff Family.    There is a very old brick Brinkerhoff house in the area (~1730's?) as well.

Methodist Churchyard, Johnsville
(Wiccopee Community United Methodist Church)
Located just off Rt 52, on Grange Road,  in the hamlet of Wiccopee.  914-897-4521.   Johnsville is the former name of this community.   The graveyard is to the right of the church.   (picture taken at Grange Road, Rt52 intersection.  There are no recent tombstones.
