Rev. Peter (Ephraim, Corenlis, Pieter³, Marten², Cornelis¹) B. April 14, 1773; died March 13, 1828; married March 27, 1798, Abigail Mudge, daughter of Jarvis and Prudence Mudge. The most remarkable event chronicled of this couple is the fact of the birth of triplets on Jan. 19, 1819, all three sons. The Rev. Father wanted to give the names of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to the infants, but as Jacob died when only eleven days old, the names of the remaining two were afterwards changed.
