Complete Marriages from Bishops Transcripts

My thanks to Rowena Clarke for transcribing these Bishops Transcripts. This has involved many many hours of work & where the copy was impossible to read she has looked at the Parish Registers - which are also in a very poor state.  As you will see some dates are missing including those covering 1680/90.   Hardwicke`s Marriage Act which took effect in 1754 decreed that all marriages should take place in the `mother` church.  For Hayfield this meant folk had to go to Glossop.
