Raymond Everette Dunn was in the US Navy as a cook and a mechanic in 1918. He was 5'7" tall, 137 lbs., brown eyes, brown hair at age 24.

Raymond was in WWI and suffered injuries from mustard gas in France, which later killed him. Raymond was evidently a fabulous singer. From the Davenport School of Music, the first US broadcast was made to Melbourne, Australia. The broadcast was of Raymond singing. Raymond later named his second son (Fay's 1/2 brother) Melbourne after this event. Raymond also performed at the Orpheum Theater in CA
