When my oldest son came home from school with homework for me about who our family was and where had the come from, I was mad that I hadn't wrote things down, by that time all my grandparents were gone. Thank goodness for Mom and her saving so much! Frances and George Kelner's wedding day picture.
We had spent three trips to Michigan Library and didn't get very far, within weeks of surfing I came across a lady to Flordia that was also researching the Wickham family in New Jersey. I was in seventh heaven when information of Thomas and wife Sarah (Goodrich) Wickham recorded a son born in Wethersfield, Conn in 1648 included my mother Frances Wickham. Other families have a been along up hill search with ever so many dead ends---- Charles Horace Dunn, John and Elmina King celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
A special thank you is in order to: my great children, Travis, Tammy, Jesse, John : my amazing husband Clayton Dale Dunn: and super Mom, without their patience, love, support, and help I never would have gotten this far.
Clayt and I were born in Rogers City and live in Onaway, Michigan; we like to share stories such as:
