| I searched South Carolina Census Records for 1810 and could not
find a John Duke(s) that fit the age that John would have been then - 40ish.
If anyone know when John or Elizabeth died, or where they are buried,
please let me know.
Researchers have only identified 4 sons and 1 daughter of john and
elizabeth but it appears from the census data that there were 5 sons and
1 daughter.
Since I could not find John or Elizabeth on the 1840 Census, I assume
that they might have died sometime in the 1830's. |
