To access marker values for tested individuals, go to the “y-DNA Results” and “mtDNA Results” tables at:
This table provides haplogroup and haplotype information for the individuals tested through the Duke surname study, grouped with others who have similar DNA profiles. Information on the documented ancestors of those tested can be found at the “Earliest Documented Ancestors” page (link below the table).
Information useful in interpreting the DNA data is available at www.familytreedna.com. There are tutorials, on-line papers, and a list of useful books. Those who wish to participate in the Duke surname project can click on the ftDNA link to this project at the bottom of the home page, or go to www.familytreedna.com and go to “Surname Projects.”
