From A History of the Talley Family on the Delaware: "William D. Talley married Elizabeth H. Bullock. She is sister of Jacob Bullock, who married Elizabeth Talley. By these two marriages Elizabeth Bullock became Talley, and Elizabeth Talley became Bullock." [18]

On 5 Jul 1838 Elizabeth H. married William D. TALLEY, son of Adam TALLEY (1770-1844) & Rebecca DAY (1774-1838), in Marcus Hook, Del Co, PA.[37] William D. Talley married, at dwelling of Rev. Talbot, Marcus Hook, PA, to Elizabeth Bullock, both of Brandywine Hd., DE, Thursday 5 July 1838. Born on 6 Oct 1806.[18] William D. died on 21 Nov 1882; he was 76.[18]
