The Unveiling of the Plaque on the Original Goose
at the entrance to Wawa, on the Trans Canada Highway
In 1960. The "Goose" was donated by Bernard A.Turcott,
a local business man. His wife, Agnes W.Turcott, has written
two books on the history of Wawa. My Mother, Irène Dubé, was
her proofreader and typist. You can read her
