HILL, SUSIE, age 70, of Linden, died Wednesday, November 21, 2001 at Genesys
Hospice Care Center, Goodrich. Funeral services were held Saturday, November
24, 2001 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel. Rev. Grant Wessell
officiated. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Those desiring may make
contributions to Genesys Hospice. Mrs. Hill was born September 13, 1931 in
Arkansas, the daughter of Thomas and Eva Mae (Smith) DuBar. She married
Claude R. Hill on August 2, 1947 in Arkansas. She had resided in Linden for
43 years. She worked as a cashier for K-Mart for 25 years. She was a member
of VFW Auxiliary 3720 Swartz Creek. Surviving are: husband, Claude; 2
daughters, Eva and husband Michael Townley of Flint, Claudia Kirkon of
Holly; granddaughter Jennifer Kirkon of Grand Blanc; grandson Michael Kirkon
of Holly; brother Jack DuBar of AR; sister, Mirtle Barry of AR; many nieces
and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Hill, parents; 3
sisters, Fannie, Becky and Minnie; and brother, Tommy. Friends may share
