On this page I am going to find a generally accepted world or at least a US Timeline of historical events that help shaped our nation and our world and depending on where they were located at the time in the world or part of the US - local timeline as well as compared to events that happened in the lives of the Hesbrook Family. - Dani
For instance, the Civil War - when did it happen? I got the following dates: The War Between the States began with the firing on Fort Sumpter by the Confederates on 12 April 1861 and ended with General Robert E. Lee's surrender at Appomattox Courthouse on 9 April 1865.
Daniel Hesbrook was in the civil war fighting for the Union in New Mexico Territory. I have the physical copies of these papers from the NARA for Daniel's Civil War Records. He was listed as Hesbrook and Hessbrook. I'll try to get them scanned and placed on the website someday. They are muster rolls for him and what duty he was pulling when he wasn't available for muster that day. In the meantime, I will transcribe them and place that information up here as well.
