| James Mose Drollette was the only child of Isaiah Nazaire Drolet and Eliza Minnie. Mose, as he was commonly referred to, was born in the year 1891. |

| Though an only child, Mose was never short of company from the many half brothers and sisters that all resided in the Drolet Homestead. | |||
| Mose was a farmer by trade. He enjoyed hunting, taking multiple hunting trips with his half nephew Henry Drollette and with Charlie Favro one of his neighbors. | ![]() Henry |

| Mose met Mabel Rascoe at a diner on Cook Street in Dannemora. Mabel was raised on the Black Brook Road in Saranac. They were married May 25, 1926. |

| Mose and Mabel had 3 sons and 8 daughters. All are living in the Northeastern New York area. | ![]() Mabel | ||
| On June 13, 1954, while Mabel and their children were at St. Joseph's Church, Mose passed away in the family car outside of the church. | |||
| Mabel passed away 33 years later. Mose and Mabel are buried at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Dannemora, New York. |
