B. J. Drew V
September 5, 1955 - Present
Known to friends and family as "Jay," BJD5 was the first of the line to be numbered with the roman numeral. His parents gave him the initials B. J. instead of the full Benjamin Joseph treatment, possibly because his mother didn't like the name "Ben." Jay is a naval officer stationed at Groton, CT. His interests include his partner Margaret and their 4 children, hiking, mountain biking, marathoning, letterboxing, sailing, scuba diving, geneaology, amateur astronomy, and writing. He is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in cardio-pulmonary dysmetabolic syndrome, in practice with the Navy and in private practice in North Stonington, CT. Jay is also a Clinical Instructor for Yale University School of Nursing. He has a large and very active family, with 10 brothers and sisters who live mostly on the West Coast near his mother, Diane Patricia Sinclair Drew.
