Orr - Pitzen Family Bible

 

The family Bible of the John J. Orr family of Toledo, Ohio.

This Bible was published in Toledo, Ohio by the U. S. B. Publishing Company in 1881.

Inscriptions were made upon the Birth, Marriage, Death and Memoranda pages of the Bible by John’s wife, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Badger Orr.  After

Lizzie’s death, in 1920,  the Bible was passed on to her daughter, Salina Orr Pitzen, then to Salina’s son, Robert L. Pitzen and now the Bible is cared for by

Robert’s eldest daughter.
