Joseph Miller is my paternal great grandfather. He is the eldest son of Phillip and Margaret (Dehe) Miller.
Phillip, my great great grandfather is the son of Franz "Frank" Mueller and Anna Marie Ophey.
Frank and his father, Franz "Frank" Mueller left their
home in Brueken, Germany and came to the US aboard the ship Duchess of Orleans.
They arrived in New York on April 19, 1852. The Mueller family passengers
listed aboard that ship
were Franz, 75 years old; Franz, 45; Anne M., 41; Johann, 18; Franz,
16; Catharine, 15; Elisabeth, 9; Jacob, 9; Marguerite, 8; Louis, 6; Phillip, 4.

The sons of Phillip Miller.
Undated and unidentified. I think the gentleman
on the far left is Joseph, and the man on the far right looks like Alois. I
could be wrong though.
