 Floyd Bettis & Jess Hill went to Minnesota Nov 8, Thursday afternoon. Got back home 8 O'clock A.M. Fri. Truck load of potatoes and vegetables. 1934 Nov. 9.

 Our first snow was Nov. 22 in the morning 1934.

Hospital, Des Moines where she is taking nursing.
 Justus Brown & Mr. and Mrs. A. Bettis went to Kirksville, Mo. Nov 23. Went out to ? on Bobb's farm that
evening, Nov 24. A.M. came back to Bobb and Elva Love's at Kirksville, Mo. Came home the 24th eve.
 Wendell Bettis took Delphina Cosner to her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clinton, at Russell, Ia.
Dec 21 on Sat. night to spend her Christmas vacation. Wendell went after Delphina Sun. afternoon, Dec 29 - 1935.
 Gene Longe came home from Mercy Hospital, Des Moines, Dec 30, 1935, to spend her New Years vacation at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs., Lee Longe in Albia. Kenneth Bettis took Gene back to Des Moines on Wed. night Jan 1st 1936.

 Wendell Emerson Bettis took the Mumps on Friday morning Feb 9 - 1934. Took them on the left side first, then right side. Fever ran as high as 105°. March 5 started back to High School. Out of school for 3 weeks.
 Kenneth Wayne Bettis took the Mumps Fri morning March 2 - 1934 on left side. Kenneth started to haul coal
March 16 - 1934. 2 weeks after having the Mumps.

Anis Bettis got a telegram Dec 24, 1935, from Mae Bettis stating her father, A. L. Bettis had passed away Dec 23 - 1935, at Ainsworth Nebr. A. L. Bettis funeral will be Dec 26 - 1935.

In the afternoon we went over to see Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bettis at Clio, which Mr. Arthur Bettis is very sick. When we came home we stopped and seen Mrs. James Ryan and Isaac and baby, 6 months old, and Mrs. Belle Brink in Chariton, Ia. Mrs. Ryan isn't very well.
 Mr. and Mrs. Roy Shriver, Mr. and Mrs. Vernie Bettis & Mr. and Mrs. Jo Bettis came over to Lincoln Bettis in the afternoon to visit with us.

 Floyd Bettis took his truck and a load of boys to Ottumwa, Ia. Oct 7 - 1934. County agent Hamilton went with the leaders and Four H Club boys. Marsh Bettis leader of the Four H Club boys from Troy. A group of 50 Four H Club boys went through Morrel's Packing Plant. On the return trip they stopped at Mrs. Frank ?. Seen a curious table that contained 18,000 different pieces of wood. It was quite a treat for the boys to see this table.

foot in hot water when she fainted.
