   On the grave stone at Mountview Cemetery in Galt it gives Thomas's age, at the time of his death as 86 years, 9 months and 18 days.  This, would mean then that he was born in 1776 which is contrary to the, records we have found for his birth which indicate that he was born in, 1796.  It is more likely that he was actually 66 years old and that I, copied the numbers incorrectly from the gravestone., ,

     Thomas's will was found in the Toronto Archives on August 21, 2001 and, in it states that he bequeath's all his property to his wife Janet, including the farm lots 14 & 15 in North Dumfries and also lots in, Galt in the Osborne Block - 2 lieing on the hill #3.3 between Ramoirs, (?) and Kay Streets.  There is also mention of lots 2 & 3 in Osborne, Block being left to the four daughters. - Margaret, Mary, Janet and, Catherine.  (Elizabeth predeceased her father). Buried in Mount View Cemetery Galt, Ontario, Canada.
