Query by GS: Robert Sr. [below] born circa 1750-1770 [since Samuel was born in 1791] could

have been Robert I's son but if born circa 1750 and he was an older son he would only have been

about 11 yrs. old when his father Robert I died circa 1761. If Robert II was born circa

1750, he would be 41 years old when he fathers his eldest son Robert III ? and 49 when he

fathers GS's g.g. grandfather James Stronge of Tullyniskey in 1799. And

there may have been other children after James. Possible ..., but

maybe not so likely. This leads one to believe there may have been another

Strong between Robert I & Robert II, and he was likely named Samuel. This theory better

accounts for the age and time differences between Roberts I & II and keeps the

Samuel, Robert, Samuel, Robert, Samuel, Robert naming sequence alternating.
