- Daniel, living with Susan in Derora in 1901. In 1920 Daniel applied for the pension and a search of the 1851 census was conducted. The report showed that parents James

  Mullan and Mary Gallagher married in 1837 and that the only child named Daniel found, had died in 1848 aged 4 months - this Daniel must have been a second son to be

  given that name. See Daniel's Census Search Form

3. James died tragically on 13 Jun 1921 at the same spot his brother Hugh had been killed 27 years earlier, when he (James) was killed by a bull.
