2. Bridget was a daughter of Charles Boyle and Ellen O’Donnell (Milltown) – see 1901 census Leckenagh for her siblings

3. These ages for the children are as they were originally recorded on the census form however, even a quick look at the ages shows that the person providing the information probably wasn't too interested in giving accurate information. An email from Mary Ann Burrow confirms this, as she has information about some of these children -

4. Patrick Ward was born 16 Mar 1886 (14 in 1901 NOT 4 as on the census) He married Anne O'Donnell (James, Innisfree) in USA

5. Michael Ward was recorded as being 19 years old in 1908 (born abt 1888-89 NOT 1899) when he boarded the SS Columbia bound for New York, where he intended to join his brother Patrick at 62 West 22 St, Bayonne (Michael was 5'8" tall, with blue eye, and a dark complexion and dark hair)

6. James Ward was recorded as being 22 years old in 1911 (born abt 1888-89 NOT 1898) when he boarded the SS California bound for New York, where he intended to join his brother Patrick at 29 West Andrew St, Bayonne (James was 5'8"tall, with dark eyes, complexion and hair)

Family in 1901 census twice - see 1901 Meenabollagan census

Meenaboligan, Derrydruel Upper and Croaghnashallog converge at a point and the houses were probably beside each other,

which may explain why there are people in the same census under different townlands. See below too.

Charles b Mar 17 1874  Hugh b Jul 19 1875  Mary b Jul 21 1877 – all born in Tully

22 Neil Carr Head R.Catholic Cannot read 40 M
