James McTaggart and Olive Ballew had the following child:

2 i. Hazy S.² McTaggart was born in North Carolina FEB 1830. Her body was interred in Fannin County, Georgia, Old Ballew Cemetery. She married Thomas McTaggart Ballew in McDowell County, North Carolina, 25 NOV 1850. Thomas was born in North Carolina 1824.⁽¹⁶⁹⁾ Thomas was the son of John Ballew and Elizabeth McTaggart. Thomas died 17 MAY 1899 in Fannin County, Georgia, at 74 years of age. His body was interred in Fannin County, Georgia, Old Ballew Cemetery.
