He married Florence Rosanna Bell in Georgia, 01 NOV 1917. Florence was born in Tennessee 06 DEC 1896. Florence was the daughter of Jarvis Sylvester Bell and Martha Mahala Ballew. Florence died 31 OCT 1973 in Saint Clair County, Alabama, at 76 years of age. Her body was interred abt. 3 NOV 1973 in Chandler Mountain, Saint Clair County, Alabama, Lebonon Methodist Cemetery.

James Vollie George and Florence Rosanna Bell had the following children:

3 ii. Carl George was born in Saint Clair County, Alabama 16 AUG 1920. Carl died 29 NOV 1940 at 20 years of age.

4 iii. Lila Lucille George (still alive).

6 v. Louis Allen George was born in Saint Clair County, Alabama 01 OCT 1928. Louis died 27 SEP 1989 at 60 years of age.
