I found a very interesting book in the Linenhall Library last week "Donaghmore - An Ancient Irish Parish" written by J.D. Cowan; unfortunately long out of print now. It gives some interesting statistics for the
parish of Donaghmore in the last century which I will set out for you. The book mentions a John Gibson, Churchwarden in Donaghmore C of I in 1746. I wonder if there could be any connection to your John Gibson Ruddock?~
