He received a medical discharge on 15-Nov-1862 due to chronic bronchitis and rheumatism (arthritis). He applied for confederate pension on 23-Sep-1908. The pension was granted due to poverty and infirmity. Mitchell Dockins is buried in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. James M. Dockins Served in Company F, 52nd Georgia Infantry also known as the Beauregard Braves, Army of Tennessee, "Rabun Gap Riflemen". He was a private who signed up on 4-March-1862. He is buried in Wiley City Cemetery located between Clayton and Tallulah Falls, Georgia. |
