Hi:
 
My husband is the great, great grandson of Susan Antoinette Barber,
who married Robert Allison in Butts C0 GA  She married a second time
to Samuel G. Godsey in Butts Co.  They came to Texas where both died,
she in 1863 and he in 1899. 
 
We have searched for years trying to prove who her parents were.  She
is listed as George Barber's daughter.  we have always thought that
she was Josiah Barber's daughter because she and S G Godsey's first
child was named Josiah W. Godsey. Other children had names of her
siblings, if she were Josiah's.
 
Is it possible that you have proff of who her parents were.  We would
be thrilled to have proof as we've searched over 20 years for
information, even going to Butts twice or three times and visited the
Barber House.
