Came the attorney general and the defendant being called to come into court and answer the charge of the state against him, causes not but forfeiting his recognizance. Therefore it is considered by the court that the state recover of said defendant the sum of $100.00 according to the terms of his recognizance (can^Òt read this word) he appears here at the next term of the court and shows cause as to the (can^Òt read) and that (can^Òt read next 2 words) accordingly. And Thomas Pritchel (can^Òt read) and Stephen Anderson being called to bring into court the body of said Jesse Wood cause not but forfeited their recognizance. Therefore it is considered by the court that the state recover of said Thomas Pritchel and Stephen Anderson the sum of $50.00 each according to the terms of their recognizance unless they appear here at the next term and show sufficient cause to the contrary and that (can^Òt read 2 words) accordingly. April 26, 1826, State versus Jesse Woods continued to next term. July 27, 1826, The State versus Jesse Wood. Came the Attorney General and there having been two seine facias returned in this cause against the defendant not made known and the defendant being solemnly called to come into court and answer the seine facias came not but made forfeiture. It is therefore considered by the court that the state recover of the defendant the sum of $100.00, the amount entered into by recognaizance and forfeited together with the costs of this seine facia for which execution may ?issue (or impue?).
