More help is needed! Thanks to a new cousin, I now have some additional information and a picture to match the name.
My block wall is my Great-grandfather James W. McMurray b.December 12, 1842 in Missouri. In 1880 his wife Mary Ellen French (McMurray) and him were in Colorado. Mary Ellen was the postmistress in Cripple Creek and he was working in a mine. They had three children; Eugene Victor., b.March 13, 1873, NE., d. February 27,1948, m. unknown, 2 children Lyle and Carl. Grace Alma, b. September 9, 1878, Tulare, CA., d. April 12, 1957, m. James I. Zimmerman, 1 child Golda. Orville, b. June 28, 1889, Weeping Water, NE., d. February 18, 1960, CA., m. Grace Ellen Pooler, 2 children Alvin James and Shirley. |
