Salanda M. Sawyer, wife of ex-Senator Lewis M. Sawyer of 1081 Maple-av., Evanston, Ill., suddenly at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 18, 1915. She was the mother of Mrs. Elmer E. Ames, Topeka, Kas.; Mrs. David H. Bloom, Chattanooga, Tenn.; Commander Frederick L. Sawyer, U. S. Navy, of New York; Mrs. William G. Tait, Tillamook, Ore.; Charles M. Sawyer of the Federal Reserve Bank Board; and Mrs. Stephen A. Coldren, Kansas City, Mo.; Ward B. Sawyer, and Robert B. Sawyer of Evanston, Ill. Funeral services at late residence, 7:45 p.m., Jan. 20, Burial at Streator, Ill., Jan. 21.
