Kivetts in America In the beginning: Generation I, the first "chapter" of this "e-book," establishes what we now know of the origins of Peter Kivett, our first Kivett in America. Generation II, the second "chapter," outlines the families of Peter's four sons and four daughters. Generation III, the third "chapter," attempts to untangle Peter's many grandchildren. Merry Widows, the "appendix," elaborates on the census work done to establish the families represented by the Kivett widows. Finally, the "index," in this case the "begats," is devoted to a full listing of the surnames in the database linked to family group sheets for each person. Finally, I have begun to add hyperlinks to documents which support the data, and I plan to add to these as time allows.
