Will of Isaac Wright, Jr. I, Isaac Wright of the County of Randolph and the state of North Carolina, being of sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence do make and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form that is to say, first that my executor herein after named, shall provide for my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my relations and friends, and pay all the funeral expenses together with my just debts however, and to whomsoever owing, out of the monies that may first come into his hand as a part or parcel of my estate. In the first place, I give and devise to my beloved wife thirty acres of my land where I now live to be set out by inches and rounds in the east end of the tract where I now live so as to include my buildings and spring. The balance of my land to be equally divided between my son Tomson Wright and my son Enos Wright to there live in fee simple to have and to hold forever. Secondly, I give and devise to my beloved wife two beds and furniture and all the household and kitchen furniture. Thirdly, I give and devise to my beloved wife the brown mare. Fourthly, I give and devise to my son Tomson Wright the year old colt. Fourthly, I give and devise to my beloved wife two cows and calves and ten head of hogs, her choice of all the domestic fowl and poultry. Fifthly, my will and desire is that the residue of my estate be sold and debts collected and if there is not enough to pay my debts that my executor to sell part of my land where it will be the least injury to the balance of the tract remaining of the tract if there is any over plush(?) Remaining tract that it be equally divided between my beloved wife and my son Enos Wright, and lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my trusty friend James W. Brown my lawful executor. This is my last will and testament according to the intent and meaning of the law and every part and clause thereof hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore made.
