General Notes: Pehr was a farmer and tailor in Sweden. He emigrated to America from Norre Stro Parish in May 1892 with his family. He traveled on the ship "City of Chicago" and his destination was listed as Chicago. He lived the rest of his life in Chicago working as a tailor except for a few years in Scandia, PA where he did some farming

They had nine children: Johanna "Jennie," Kerstin "Clara," Anna Maria, Rutger Johan "Richard," Viking Nils, Senia Erica, Selma Platina, Selma Platina, and Hilma Amalia.

She settled in Chicago where she was married and then went to Scandia, Pa with her family and became farmers. They went to Jamestown in 1908 where she was a member of the Zion Mission Covenant Church, Ladies Aid Society, Ingrid Lodge, and Ladies of Vikings.
