| JETER EUGENE WEEKS was born August 22, 1931 and died April 30, 2000 in Geneva County, Alabama at his home. He is buried at the Evergreen Cementery in Geneva, AL. He married BETTY SUE BEST daughter of THOMAS BEST and NOLA JANE THORN on May 03, 1952 in Samson, Alabama at the home of Judge Sanders. He was called Gene by most of his freinds and family. Gene ran a store in the Lowery Community for many years. He always had a dip of snuff or tobacco in his mouth and liked to pick at people by trying to get them to take a dip. Gene liked to have a good time and he enjoyed just talking to people. His wife and his boys and later his daughter-in-laws and his grandchildren were always the most important people in his life. He and Betty had lived in Lowery all their lives but when his youngest son moved to Geneva, Alabama Gene sold everything and they moved next door to him.
