EARNEST EARL WEEKS b. March 02, 1934; d. November 02, 1948; Buried at WEEKS CHAPEL CEMENTERY in Geneva County, Alabama near the Lowery Community

EARL died from complications of pneumonia. His mother said that the doctors were trying to draw fluid and punctured his lung. He died in the Enterprise, AL Hospital. The older children stayed in Enterprise to take care of him. While one would stay with him another would stay at the home of Rosa's grandparents Jasper and Fannie Ellis.


O'NEAL WEEKS b. March 17, 1937; d. March 05, 1954; Buried at WEEKS CHAPEL CEMENTERY in Geneva County, AL near the Lowery Community.

O'NEAL died while working on the Jeffcoat farm in Lowery, Alabama. He was driving a tractor that turned over on him.


HANNON WEEKS b. January 13, 1940; d. January 26, 1940

HANNON was born with a heart defect. In those days people called him a blue baby. Rosa (his mother) said that she woke up one morning and when she started to pick him up she knew something was wrong with him. Dock & the older boys were cutting wood so she sent Myrtle to get them. Dock got the doctor but there was not anything he could do for the baby. Someone went and got Una Moore and she came to their house to help. She sat and held Hannon near the fire and rocked him all day and into the night until he died. Rosa was very ill after Hannon was born. She could not stand light and was not able to get up for a long time. Hannon was buried at the WEEKS CHAPEL CEMENTERY in Geneva County, Alabama near the Lowery Community.
