Brown Co., OH

Jefferson Township Baptist Church;
Rev Mr. Smith preached at farmhouses, mainly that of Elihu Parker. In
1828 when they resolved into an organized body they built a house in
which to worship. Among the first members were Jospeh Bratton and wife,
WilliamBratton and wife, Adam Bratton and wife, and William Derrickson
and wife.
