Van Buren News Clipping:
1915 - S.T. Dirickson and Charles McSpadden are engaged this week in erecting a new covered porch in front of the Van Buren Mercantile Co. (Sidenote: Charles McSpadden was Seth's brother in law's family, and was later killed during WWI.)

12/10/1918 - Mr. & Mrs. S.T. Dirickson of Midco, MO spent Sat. and Sun. at Van Buren on business and visited with relatives.

4/15/1920 S.T. Dirickson and family, who departed several weeks ago for Kiefer, OK with the intention of locating there have returned to their former home in Midco. In writing to us to change the address of his paper back to that place, Mr. Dirickson says he is glad to return to Missouri where the wind is not so high and the water is better. He will resume his former position as carpenter with the Mid-Continent Iron Company.
