Funeral services for Leslie E. Fowler, who died after an accident in the Great Northern millyard where he had been employed for many years, were held at the residence of William R. Fowler, by Rev. C.D. Nutter of the First Baptist church. There were many beautiful floral tributes. A selection was sung by Mrs. Nellie Goodwin with Mrs. Laura Bruce at the organ. The bearers were Peter Gormley, Charles Willett, Augustus Swanson and Vincent Whirthy. Interment was in the local cemetery. Relatives from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Fowler of Kittery; Mrs. Harry MacKenzie and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph MacKenzie of Island Falls; and Miss Marion Martin of Montreal.
