I, John H. Dick, of Jackson Township, Cambria County, Pennsylvania, a farmer by occupation, make this my last will. I give,devise and bequeath my estate and property real and personal as follows. I give and bequeath and devise to my wife, Crissie Elizabeth Dick all my property both real and personal to have and to hold during her lifetime or as long as she remains my widow. I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah M., married to Samuel Miller the sum of One Dollar. To my son Charles A. Dick, the sum of one dollar. To my son, James W. Dick, the sum of One dollar, to my son Alfred D. Dick the sum of One Dollar, to my daughter Annie Lydia now married to Brent Sharrer her share is to pass her children and in case of the death of her children before they attain the age of twenty-one years this bequest is to fall in my children and be divide share and share alike and it is my desire and I do so bequeath that in case of the death of any of my children having no heirs their share shall be divided equally between the balance of my heirs share and share alike. I do hereby appoint my wife, Crissie E. Dick as my Executrix and Charles A. Dick my son Executor of my last will with power to sell, convey and transact business as they may think prudent in a business way.
In witness whereof, I have signed and sealed and publish and declared this instrument as my will in witness this thirteenth day of May one thousand eight hundred and eighty four at my home in Jackson Township, Cambria County, Pa.

Before me Daniel A. McGough, Register of the probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for said County personally come J. W. Flude and Michael Bennett the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing will who being duly sworn according to law do each depose and say that they were present and saw and heard John H. Dick, the within named Testator, sign, seal, and publish pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of sorting as and for his last will and Testament and at the time of so doing he was of sound mind, memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge, observation and belief.

Empfield jointly and swearly bound to the Commonwealth of Pa in the sum of $1,000 upon condition that the said John Dick, Jr. do will and truly administer the goods and chattles right and credit of Thomas Dick dead according to law and to make and exhibit or cause to be exhibited in the Registers office at Indiana within 30 days a true and perfect inventory of all & singular the goods and chattles credit of said deceased and make a final settlement calculation and reckoning of the said administration with in 1 year or when thereunto legally required, same day the sworn according to law as administrator of the same and Letters of Administration issued and delivered in common form.
Renunciation: I, widow of Thomas Dick, deceased, do relinquish my intention to administer on said estate and am satisfied that John Dick administer the same. Witness my hand. Witness William Hise, Dec. 30th, 1834, Margaret Dick, her mark.
The Petition of John Dick administrator of Thomas Dick late of said County in all humble manner (affirms): - that said Thomas Dick lately died instestate leaving a widow named Margaret and issue five children named Mary Ann, Amelia, James, Eliza Jane & John Dick, all minors under the age of twenty one - that said Thomas Dick died seized intre alia of one hundred acres of land situated in Brushvalley Township, Indiana County, adjoining lands of Samuel Neagley, Christopher Keller and others with a cabin house and cabin barn thereon erected with about sixty five acres producing. - that the personal estate of said deceased is insufficient to pay and discharge the just debts of said intestate as appears the schedule hereto annexed. - your Petitioner therefore humbly prays your honor to grant him an order to sell said real estate so much thereof as will be sufficient to pay and satisfy the just debts of said intestate - and he will pray - John Dick
