Frank Hall m. Elizabeth Asplin 10/10/1888 and they had four children,
Arthur, Robert, Russell, and Stella.

George Hall m. Anna Asplin (not Elizabeth Asplin) 2/9/1893 and had six
children, Warren, Gordon, Harold, Alfred, Ethel and Evelyn.

There is a great resource for information on the history of Olmsted Falls,
Ohio that has extensive information on all of the families that lived there
since the founding of the township.  I have the book at home and will email
you the name of it tomorrow.

My great grandfather was Francis Peter Hickey who married Mabel Mary
Millicent Hall sister of Frank and George.

The book I told you about is Historical Story Olmsted Township: Villages of
Olmsted Falls, North Olmsted, West View by Walter F. Holzworth, written in
1966.  There are no specific Asplin pages, but they are mentioned in
conjunction with the Hall family, specifically on page 51.

"Elizabeth Hall, a daughter of Joel and Millicent, was born October 4, 1863
and married Jacob Bauer December 25, 1888.  After Bauer's death she married
Charles Asplin.  They had no children."

"George Hall, son of Joel and Millicent, was born April 18, 1871 and married
Anna Asplin February 9,1893.  They had 6 children:  Warren, Gordon, Harold,
Alfred, Mrs. Ethel Warner, and Mrs. Evelyn Faber.  He was identified as
"Greenhouse George".  Along with his sons, Warren, Gordon, and Harold, he
engaged ina greenhouse business.  George Hall died while visiting in
Jeromesville, Ohio September 12, 1950 at the age of 79.  Mrs. George Hall
died May 22, 1928."

on page 50

"Donald Hall, a son of John and Minnie Robb Hall, married Flora Asplin.  He
was known as "Kink Hall" a truck gardener at the big bend on Kennedy Ridge.
His children were Dorothy and Donald."

The slaughter house was actually owned by Arthur Hall and burned down in
1952.

Sorry for the delay in returning this information to you.

Oops, also forgot to include this paragraph on page 51

"Frank Hall, son of Joel and Millicent, was born October 2, 1864 and married
Elizabeth Asplin October 10, 1888.  They had 4 children:  Arthur, who
married Martha Surman, Robert married Berth Cook, Russell married Beatrice
Terrell, and Stella married Dean Webster.  Frank Hall's farm was on Cook
Road where he farmed and raised cattle, and started a slaughter house.  His
son, Arthur, who married Martha Surman, was identified as Art Hall, the
Butcher.  He built the business of raising and feeding of steers, sheep,
hogs, and ths laughter house into a highly successful wholesale meat
processing and distributing business.  His sons, Florian and Irving, carried
on the business after his death.  Arthur Hall had one daughter, Josephine
who married Mr. Madak."

So as you can see, the Hall's and Asplin's had a lot of fun at family
reunions, considering that 3/4 of the family was married to each other.
