Henry died February 27, 1832 in Green county, Tn. Rebecca applied for the widow's pension in 1853 in Carroll Co., Tn. where she lived with her son William. William was a Primitive Baptist preacher and married Jency Ann Butler in Cumberland. His children included Rev. Stephen Senter (Missionary Baptist preacher) b. 1787 m. 1802 Anna Blaylock, they lived and died near Fayetteville; Rev. Drury Senter b 1788 m. Mary McClure in Abingdon, Va. and he died in Grayson Co.; Rev. William Senter b. 1787 or 9 m. Jency Ann Butler in Cumberland, moved to Green around 1805 and died in Gibson or Carroll Co., Tn. ; Aaron Senter b 1793 m. Elizabeth Baker; James b 1796 m. Mary Cole.

The first record I have of Stephen is in Johnston Co, 1768. I believe that Stephen also had a son William and a daughter Rachel. I am working on the theory that Stephen was married to Mary Sims, daughter of Joseph Sims and wife Sarah. Sarah died Johnston Co. NC 1770 leaving a will. I don't know that it is provable.

There certainly seems to be a strong tie between Stephen and the Sims family. He also witnessed a deed for the Sims family in Brunswick County, Va before he moved to North Carolina.

I now wonder if there isn't an earlier tie between Jincy Butler's (wife of William Senter) family and the Butlers and Sims and possibly the Delaneys of Virginia, North Carolina and Kentucky
