A special thank you to all the family members who gave information so generously to this Family History. If I inadvertently forgot you I am very very sorry..
Ellen Denning Boehringer deserves a
special
thank you for being a great sister and sharing our hobby of genealogy
She
has spent many many days in drafty old courthouses. I believe she knows
Shelby County Courthouse better than the employees <grin, well just
maybe>. When I leave sunny Arizona to visited her in Ohio we spend
far
too many hours at Cemeteries, Courthouses, and working on her
computer..
Ellen is also working on her husband family history
.
Sadly for our family our Sister, Mother, Cousin, Aunt and Friend
died March 10, 2003. We all miss her to more than words can
express.
The Boehringer - Wion's of Covington,
Ohio.
Wally Garchow for all his work on the Pitsenbarger
Family.
See Wally's web site Pitsenbarger
Family of America .
What a great web site. Check out the Darke Co., Ohio web site. Wally
is still helping me with suggestions and other family information, with
correction or missing information in my database. Wally encouragement
is
greatly appreicated by me.
Wally's web site show how much work has went
into this thing called genealogy. It is like a favorite dog once it get
a hold of you, it will never lets go, what a hold it has on us.
David Axe gave Ellen so much information on the Clark Family.
James Le Roy Fagan of Ohio created a book with Family Group Record on the Fagan-Turner Family. James and I have most of the same information through different directions and sources.
Ruth Mevina Oplas Denman (my father, Elmer Denning's cousin) Ruth Melvina Oplas contributed greatly to the Fagan-Turner side of the family, with family legends and information from the Fagen-Turner Reunion.
Thomas L. Harp wrote the book
about
1991:
THE APPLE GATHERING DESCENDANTS OF JOHANNES APPLE
1752-1823
Kilpatrick family: The Kipatrick information came from various members. Each contributed what they knew, the rest came from newpaper obituaries from my husband, Kennard's Mother Evelyn Kilpatrick Todd.
Betty Jane Fish Kilpatrick must also be thanked for all the Kilpatrick- Fish data.
Elma L. Todd Roger put together a Todd History book starting with John Todd of England each member of the 12 George Todd children contributing their information. What a lot of family history was created by that book.
This Web Site is for my mother Edna Clark Denning who died in Novemeber 3, 1991. Mother would have loved the fact that we have found and preserved our family history.
For my Father Elmer Clifford Denning, he was a wonderful man, who
never
had a bad word to say about anyone.
For all who view our family history
please
enjoy it.
This information is not for profit. It
is given freely
for anyone using it for their family
history,
it is not intend for resale.
