Notes for CHRISTOPHER 2 DENMAN:

Eugene Denman, who wrote "Denman Families in America," lists descendants only back to Christopher 2, whose extended family is well-documented. The Denmans in Georgia dispersed into Alabama, Mississippi, and other Southern states. According to Eugene Denman, "Texas may have more Denman descendants than any other state with the exception of perhaps Ohio."

Christopher and Nancy Denman lived in the Carolinas but moved to Marietta, Georgia, before the Revolutionary War. Their son Moses was born in either South Carolina or Franklin Co., Georgia. Christopher and Nancy lived on a 300-acre farm on the banks of Gumlog Creek in Franklin Co., Georgia. He died in Franklin Co., Georgia.
